Emily Redwood
Perth Accredited Practising Dietitian
Specialising in endometriosis nutrition, PCOS, gut health & gestational diabetes — Perth & telehealth

ACCREDITED PRACTISING DIETITIAN (APD) | PhD CANDIDATE | WOMEN'S HEALTH SPECIALIST
Emily Redwood is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and PhD candidate, where her research focuses specifically on endometriosis nutrition — making her one of the very few Perth dietitians actively contributing to the clinical evidence base in this field. She works within a specialist women's hospital and brings both frontline clinical experience and a genuine academic dedication to every client she sees.
Emily's specialist areas include endometriosis, PCOS, gut health, gestational diabetes, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, coeliac disease, weight management, and chronic kidney disease. For women in Perth navigating complex, often misunderstood conditions, Emily offers a level of depth and focus that is genuinely rare.
Emily understands better than most how confusing and contradictory the nutrition advice around women's health can be. Having navigated her own personal health journey, she came to dietetics with both a professional commitment to evidence-based practice and a personal understanding of what it feels like to search for answers that are hard to find.
That combination — lived experience and rigorous clinical training — is what drives her. Emily strongly believes that women's health has historically been under-researched, and her decision to pursue a PhD in endometriosis nutrition reflects her determination to help change that, one study at a time.

"With the experience of my own personal health journey, I am extremely motivated to treat everyone with compassion and support my clients to achieve the best outcomes"
Emily's approach to dietetic consultations is thorough, compassionate, and always grounded in the latest evidence. She takes time to understand not just your symptoms and diagnosis, but your relationship with food, your lifestyle, and what a realistic plan actually looks like for you day to day.
For clients with endometriosis, Emily works to reduce systemic inflammation through targeted dietary strategies, address gut symptoms like endo belly, and optimise key nutrients including iron, vitamin D, and magnesium. For clients with PCOS, she focuses on insulin sensitivity, hormonal balance, and sustainable dietary patterns that support both metabolic and reproductive health.
Emily consults from Fertility Specialists WA (however, you don't need to be a fertility patient to see her).
